Hello maniacs, if you missed my last blog post you can read it here, it’s friday and in just two days we will watch the first race of the new Formula one season 2015, which will start in Melbourne at the Albert Park Circuit, and before I forget it, I need to set my alarm clock ! For qualy first, and then for the race on sunday ! The various modders groups are already working on some new mods for the F1 2015 season, and I’m trying some of them here in my rig. The fist race of the season it’s in Melbourne Australia at the Albert Park circuit. It’s a street circuit, and it’s not an easy one. Only two straights, whic correspond to the two DRS zones, the rest is all, chicanes, and medium and fast corners.
The setup demand an High Downforce level since there are so many corners. Turn one is very challenging, you need to hit the curb on the right and then you need to accelerate as soon you hit the exit corner. It is important to have a good exit, as the second DRS zone begins down the following straight. Next is turn 3 a very good chance to overtake. In this circuit, for overtake you need to be very committed. Pirelli choice is Soft and Medium tyres for this one. The weather should be clear and sunny all weekend.
